Our cousin came for a visit one day (she had just turned 11) and after some coaxing by her mom, sang us this song she had started to write. We were blown away, and by the end of the weekend had finished writing it both lyrically and musically.

She wrote the song after a friend and the friend's mom lost someone special to them to suicide. She had spent the night at their house and saw what they were going through. She wrote it from her heart.
